Awesome, are the side skirts fibreglass or plastic?

Fiberglass unfortunately, but feel strong & good quality. They are the Fibremaster ones.

So the bottom of the car will be black just below the body side mouldings?

2 tone then?

Should look good.........but personally I would paint it charcoal.

Sorry my mistake, just the skirts, front lip & rear apron as I sprayed that Black too after beating a dent out.

Though I've pondered going two tone before, I wouldn't go as high to the moldings I think I would start on that lower style line so it's just a thin strip of Black, if I ever went that direction I reckon I would go with vinyl decals rather than paint due to my constant mind changing

Oh nice, cool site. I've used Plastidip before on exterior trims, absolutely awesome gotta get some more to use on the Cordia. Looks like they're extending their range too, that smoke product has got me interested

What smoke product is that? Is that for lights?

Plasti Dip Smoke, looks as if it's just recently been released too. I've checked it out on a few forums, good results on lights.

The beauty of it is you can peel it off if you get over it ! Genius.

Check out 'Plasti Dip Wheels' on YouTube, very cool.

Today's modification:

Take advantage of Colt's clear lens & turn them into parking lights & vice versa.

I have no idea though if you could still class them as parkers, as they are fairly bright. Obviously not as rediculous as they appear in the photos.

Despite the indicators looking a dull Yellow in the pics, I am using Orange globes which look great in person.

I have done the same mod on Bitza........turned the parklights into indicators........but I have used my spotlights as parkers......these run the normal 5W globe.

Any pics of them all in action Andrew ??

I may try to run another globe yet & modify to fit if I have any troubles out on the road, I'll see how bright they are from a distance & take it from there.

Cheers for the pics Andrew, looks great !

The DRL's are a nice touch, I'm tempted to get some myself but at the same time don't want to get too modern on it, & ruin the 80's feel

Being the mad hunter (or complete idiot) that I am when it comes to wheels, I've come across some 260Z stockies.

14x5.5" wide & obvious 4x114.3 stud patern.

Must work out the offset (think it's generally on the low side for the Z's) but I'm planning to test fit one if all goes well.

Image

The current ATS 14's I only just fitted need a good sand & polish, so maybe once I get around to doing that they might have me convinced :)

Thanks to some helpful members on here I was able to source some factory White panels for the front end - bonnet, nose cone & the front grille.

Great seeing everything the same colour again with some touches of Red.

Also picked up a set of JA Starion wheels (14 x 6.5 +18) look forward to putting them on, will give the Z wheels a miss. In the middle of clearing out all of my wheels now, I think the Starion set will stick ;)

Post subject:  Re: 1985 AB GSL Daily

The Starion wheels have a lower offset than Cordia ones. What is wrong with the black wheels in the earlier pics?

The black wheels looked great... The whole black and white theme looks awesome...
