well got the tredia home today

engine diagnosis...blown headgasket

one broken window

and dead reg :S

should be able to fix her up fairly easy tho

thats pretty cool though! get a cordia motor in her and she'd be just as quick but rwd. also, maybe see if you can put a cordia front on her :D

lol maybe one day for now i'd like to get her running and use it as my hack...save some money for turning my supra into a monster power house lol...and maybe rebuilding my tired as skyline..or do an rb swap not sure yet

so i've started the ripping apart stage lol

pretty much ready to get the head off, but i need some bludy hex sockets :S

replaced my broken window :)

and replaced the cracked tail lights with sum fancy se spec ones (clear lenses :D)

well after half a days work, got the head off

gasket blew between 3rd piston, and the water gallery, so water dwn the bores :S

hopefully i'l be able to clean the bores up ok, engine still turns over sweet so thats all good

these a prob gonna be massive so sorry y'all on dial...maybe it's time to get broadband neway :P

yes, that is the houseing for the compressor side of the turbo...in the intake manifold

well, the head is at the recondishioners being planned, and the cam is at kelford cams getting a mild regrind :D should help the power out a wee bit

really need to take a grinder to that asthmatic intake manifold but dont have one/cbf

my mate says that ther DR30 (jap) and MR30 (aus spec) not R30.
I think they canged there name for the R31.

that is a different sort of set up, must be handy havin the compressor right on the side of the manifold, no chance of a cooler though so i geuss 50 50 on that. is that the way the sigma carby turbos are set up aswell

not sure aye it's a pretty random setup, u guess there is some potential there, maybe i'll play around with it in the future, but for now just wanna see it going, daily duties ect cause the skyline is getting pretty tired now lol...v8 time for the skyline i guess :D
