OK, I'll try and explain,
The map sensor (also called pressure sensor) is located on the firewall to the right hand side of the igniter or E101.

The yellow wire is the pressure sensor back to the ECU as part of the loom, if you cut this wire and bridge a fuel cut defender in its place you can raise the fuel cut limit. (AB's actually fuel cut at 14 psi so you can set it higher by lowering the FCD voltage)

The FCD stops the sensor from reaching 5 volt and cutting the ignition at the E101, guys always say its a "fuel" cut but its not.

See here for the wiring diagram.

The picture only has three wires?

You need four, positive, negative, and a colour to bridge the cut yellow wire.

Pretty sure Jaycar still make them, can't buy them in stores anymore only over the net...........but you have to make it yourself.........not hard.

Clips the voltage at 3.9 volt, perfect for the cordia, have made quite a few now, and at $20 it's cheap.

Post subject:  Re: SIVART's new toy

all the black parts like the handles etc are plastic dip paint ...lol , trick too with taking the tape off , is do it while its slightly wet still and it never chips away, or trim with a stanley knife before

I have to stick the moulds and badges on too, ( GLi badge )

I did the paint abit too smooth , so I roughed it up with random spraying , now to get the car dirty so it looks old
