Thought i'd better give you guys an update on whats been going on with the car. I haven't been on here latetly so few things have happened since i was last on.

First up, cant remember if i'd posted these or not, but some pics of the re-trimmed interior. Just got around to finishing off the rear hatch section, and temp fitting in the amp for the subs.

Also found a set of 18's i like. After much deliberation and some hassles along the way, i managed to find a set i was happy with. The first ones i was after were out of stock, the second fell off the truck! However after seeing these in the flesh i was quite happy with my choice.

There 18"x7.5" with 215x35 Khumo ecstas on them, only just squeeze in...Ill try and get some better pics of the car out in the open, these were just to show them off.
Anyways enjoy...

Spent some time this weekend trying to touch up the outside of the car.
You'll notice i've managed to paint and fit the fibermaster skirts that ive had lying around.

As you can see in the pics there is still some areas that need attention like the rear bar, rear mud flaps and pretty much the entire front end. Ive got the old front end that i reakon i might put back on as the current evo bar hits everything.

Im also considering replacing the bonnet at some stage due to some cracking and paint fade around the bonnet vent.

Ill try to get some more pics up as i complete the rest, enjoy for now though

Sideskirts make such a difference; it definately makes the car look lower and more aggressive (although it looked aggressive enough as it was)! Let me know if you're up for a cruise again mate, it's been ages! :P

Yea dont know why i didn't put them on earlier when i actually purchased them over 2 years ago...? Keen to catch up for a cruise again too mate, it has been a while. Im contemplating taking the car off the road for a while in the beginning of next year to finally put the 63 into her, so sometime before then would be good.

Well what can i say but the end of last year couln't have turned out any worse than the way it did!

Firstly the car is officially dead, well not dead but in need of some serious tlc, so the car is now off the road. The motor has been on the way out for a while now and just recently been overheating too quickly. Im not willing to spend any money on the current motor so its getting the shove and im now trying to source a good condition 63 for its replacement.

Secondly the day after i decided to take it off the road, while parked on the side of the road someone decided to back straight into the front quarter panel! I must say though the damage isn't too bad but really happy all the same...

After a bit of fartarsing around with insuance companies, i've since had the damage done to the front quarter panel repaired and while i was at it i had the guys fix the damage that was also done to the front bar, the cars now looking better than new. :D

Pics of the damage done to the car...

The car is still off the road however and i've just started the fun and timeconsuming process of removing the engine and getting the car ready to have the engine bay respraying and ready for the new motor...stay tuned 8)

Hey guys, apologies for the lack of an update here for a while. Well I've been reasonably busy trying to source some new parts for the car along with the removal of the current engine.

I've pretty much completed the rear disk brake setup minus the braided lines i still need to have made up. its actually a very easy conversion to do yourself for anyone out there considering doing it. all up i think it cost around $500-$600 in parts, that was for new disks, bearings, seals, slotted rotors, pads and reconditioned calipers.

I've also managed to source a reasonably good condition 4g63 for the car. I'm looking at giving it a really good clean and probably gonna spend some cash on it before it goes in. ill also be spending some time cleaning up the engine bay before i install the motor. I'm looking at powdercoating whatever i can and respraying the bay so hopefully everything will look brand new once it goes in.

Anyway enjoy the pics and any feedback / comments are more than welcome,

cheers Adam
