Been busy then Koray, but why did you remove the vacc port from the manifold? How will you now run the gearbox over drive?.....Tee piece the brake master hose? Looks great! |

Notice the grub screw missing from the end of the vac gallery? A nipple will be installed here as it makes for a cleaner look. |

Great pics. I like what you did getting rid of the fp from the manifold. Also what product did you use to block the egr ports on the intake manifold? Considering the work your getting done on this engine i guess you are all healed up now from your bike accident? |

Thanks bud and Andrew is correct, the manifold was TIG welded using 3/32 4043 filler @ 90-110 Amps 4cylturb wrote: Considering the work your getting done on this engine i guess you are all healed up now from your bike accident? I'm doing well, upper body is all healed up and my limp is mostly gone, foot still hurts though. Thanks for asking. |

Yeah makes sense. Think i've been having too many late nights. For some reason i thought you had used some sort of hardening sealant. Nice work cleaning up the weld. It's good to hear your nearly back to normal physically. Makes me think of that 3D isle of man TT doco where the dude crashes at 270km/h and while he's in hospital with a smashed spine he's preparing for next year. You ever getting on a bike again? Please keep posting the pics of your build! |

Nice one Koray..........how come your balance has the info sticker on the back when mine is on the front? Did you also use the Hyundai mounting plates as some of the bolt holes don't line up........just checked my spare hyundai timing over and it doesn't have the 2 ribs!.........Which model did you get the cover off of? Love the manifolds.........look chunky and naked! |

Cheers guys, Umm... not sure about the balancer, perhaps we have different revisions. As for the timing cover, it is a 97 sonata cover, it fit with the standard single layer Rs mounting plates. More pics soon! |

Looking at how modified this engine is and how much money you spent, i don't understand why your bypassing the oil cooler system. Its actually beneficial to use. kinda like having 400HP with no intercooler. |
