Sounds like your fuel may be old and stale. I would definitely drain all the fuel out and put some premium in.

Also check to see if there is fuel pumping into the TB.

If it won't idle, might even be fuel blockage too. There should be a 1/2" drain plug from the petrol tank, so probably put fresh fuel in it and fuel injector cleaner. Hopefully it isn't an electronic issue.

Also check for vac. leaks, or as you have a FMIC, check that the piping isn't leaking anywhere. That could also cause it to run crap. If still no good, check exhaust out, see if is cracks in manifold, holes in the exhaust system... etc.

Probably try it in that order too ;) then start lookin for electrical/sensor issues...

and have you changed the oil and filter yet? If not, I would before even trying to start it.

so opening the throttle helps it run/idle?

check for vacc leaks
replace fuel
plugs
reset tps

or if its running really rich on idle and cuts out swap out the CTS

dont spend 200 bucks just to get it diagnosed and then another 100 to fix :D

total cost of all that above is like 40 bucks and thats if you have to replace anything

reset tps - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2187
trouble shooting - viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11561
some of the cordia bible - viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7343

all worth a read before u spend some cash :)

Nice buy. The interior is immaculate but the bodywork could use some TLC, but how many cordia's don't lol.

BTW, you'll find that the location of your monster tacho is infact illegal.

What's the point of having that huge tacho if you've already got one in the dash?? Chicks dig it?

LoL, that's not very nice... poor old cordia.
Might buy it if the price is right.
I have one the same, but the interior and the front end is a bit 'how ya going'
