this is my cordia turbo i got a few weeks back.. it had a stuffed fuel pump when i got it and a few little vac problems and badly leeking injectors but after scoring a few parts from a wreck and a brand new pump she now runs pretty good.. has the 5th gear problem tho.. :/

I have plenty of ideas........main issue could be:

Blown relay......on drivers side footwell
Jammed rear Selector, or hoses have failed
Inop switch selector
Blown reed switch........in the back of the speedo (Speed sensor)

Lots to check. :)

this is where im up too today.. so far everything has been no problems apart from breaking a water line bolt off in the turbo.. :( but its not that big a deal im just going to run it oil cooled and block off the water lines.. and i just need to make up the cross over pipe

Looks good :).........time for an intercooler maybe.......I would run the coolant through such a small turbo, will stop hot end journal failure, unless you have a rather large oil cooler........I also see your missing the E101 igniter (bosch changeover)......this will mean your engine has no knock control when using poor octane fuels.

thats how it was when i got it.. might be worth getting a propper e101 thing you think..? with the water line bolt stuck in the way it is i think im gonna just have to go oil cooled only till i can find sum funds to fix it all proper..
