It's deregistered, the motor has thrown a rod through the side of the block - too much hassle to get back onto the road.

So, instead a certain member on these forums will be receiving the 4WD bits for their Cordia.

You mean the lack thereof? It's a GT model, not the GSR. Think of it like the RS compared to the GSR Lancer.

The power/economy lever has the 4WD switch on top of it too. It's cable control shifter as well, so would be different layout to the normal Cordia shifter.

those con rods are mashed to pieces!!! fudging hilarious the hole in the block and multiple holes in the sump. what happened?

Number 4 piston is shattered, so I'm guessing the rod came free of the piston and was bouncing around then made its way down to the side of the block and punched the hole out then punched the holes in the sump.

Either that or the big end let go or something equally catestrophic.

No idea what caused it - maybe previous owners over-revving it.

The supershift on a GSL is a cable type

The main linkages are rods tho
