My family does our own custom part fabricating. They've mostly focused on part for Mazda RX7's & RX8's but since I've got my Cordia & the lack of aftermarket parts, they're willing to make stuff for my 2 Cordz.
We do alot of plastic work right now but can do metal & such;

Grille kits in aluminum, ready to painted if wanted
Front air dam lip to give more downforce (Air Splitters). We run them on all our Race cars & one of the first to make them. The plastic is a hightech copolymer that is indestructible & comes in just about any color. Shape can be changed, doesnt have to have wing thing on side but it does help for aerodynamics & directing airflow to the brakes.
Image
Little accessories & stuff like that.
Anywho. I'm wanting to get some real clear light lite pieces done and such amongst other things, but we're looking to u guys if you have any need for certain items that would have to be custom made.
So...any ideas?

Current Ideas:
Air splitters
Pod gauge pillar
Headlight Eyebrows
Headlight covers w/ diff designs
Rear taillights clear
Diff dash gauges

Thats easy enough. Just a flat black color? 2 or 3 gauge pods?

Great idea's guys, keep em coming on what you want and I'll see what we can do...

Clear rear lights - Def one of my own priorities.

Headlight Eyebrows - You want just the lil lip to stick out, or I've seen some that actually cover top part of the headlight to form a shape. Throw some ideas out.

Covers are easy to do. Once I get a template, you would just need to tell or show me the pattern you want, since they would all be custom hand made.

Pods - I'm seein alotta ppl askin for em. I've seen a few good spots for em. On the pillar, on passenger side dash, or even under the stereo spot in the misc cubby hole thing.

Duno about the whole custom dash thing. Kinda big and bulky to ship around also ;) Custom gauges for the dash IS do-able tho. Like patterns and such. Changing out the LED's for diff colors would be easy too.

Soon as I get some rough prototypes up, I'll put em up her for you guys to give input on. But any more idea's or such, plz let me know

Spike, go ahead and email them. blackiceracer@comcast.net

Eyebrows for headlights - Super easy. We had a rough template made in about 15min last nite. I'll post some pics in a few days
Clear tailights - Easy to make but we need to find a Plastic Chromer first that can add the reflective stuff inside, so maybe a few wks. The other alternative if ppl want is we can just make them look like circles inside.
Tail light covers - Again, really simple. Just let us know what design to make on it. Would prolly just use some thin plastic with self-adhesive on edges, mold it to the taillight shape then just bevel and shave the edges to make it flow better on the car.
Front Air Splitters - Using our template for the RX7, we came up with a pretty cool idea for the splitters. Gotta test it on my cord 1st. But basically it has the lil wing on the side but the splitter in the front will be longer to reach more towards the center of the car. Then we are tilting it down to act as a REAL air damn to direct air up to the radiator and intercoolers. Gonna try to even use the liscense plate to form the middle piece between the 2, so we'll see. Should have something done up in a week or so. Again, pics as we get em going.
Gauge Pillar Pod - We already have another pod to use as template, we just have to downsize it to fit our small pillars. When we get em going, I'll need to know if you need right side (Aussies) or left side (USA) pillars.

Another thing I need to know, is if there is much diff between the parts used on the USA AC model vs the AUS AC model, and if AA/AB's can use some AC parts. The main parts being 'Headlight', 'taillight', 'pillar' (the plastic part), and the front end. The airdamn and angle of that to the bottom of bumper. Gonna have to look at some pics but if anyone actually knows they are same or diff, plz let me know.

I am fairly certain that the taillights, headlights and pilars are the same from aus to US.... other than obviously stated, the pillar guages would have to be on the other side....

the taillights differ between the AA and the AB/AC model... the AA ones are generally ugly...

Ugly eh? I'll have to get ahold of some when we get the go-ahead with the chromer, that is if anyone with the AA/AB's want to chng em to diff style or get them clear

Hey insted of making full clear tail lights, which may not suit a cordia, because cordia's are too old skool perhaps you could make some tail lights like this?

Image

I reckon that would look phat as.

We followed natural body lines and it doesn't block the lite at all. We tested and made sure, before/after on the wall.
Image Image

This is just the rough template. It will be molded to wrap around the edges of the lite to secure it.

The clear piece in the taillight instead of all clear would be alot harder to do, but nothing is impossible with imagination and $ ;) I'll see how feasible it's gonna be too
