Nah I'm pretty sure that's Jackie Chan!
And yes I think it could be a Starion... Starion's are RWD aren't they???
I examined the clip frame by frame and when the car lands, watch the rear tyre start smoking!!!

I was being sarcastic about Bruce Lee, it's clearly Jackie Chan. If the car's a Starion though it's a pretty funny Starion to have Cordia-like headlights, the Cordia covered rear wheel arch, and what looks like FWD offset mags rather than the dished Starion ones..
It's too hard to tell if the rear wheel is smoking.. It could be just carrying along dust from the ground or maybe he locked it up by applying the brakes as he landed.
This argument is getting as bad as the blowoff valve discussion..

Wasn't that a Starion?
Rather average english from cordiaturbo.com says "MMC built this special Starion as a gift for the popular Cantonese actor Jacky Chan. Who drove a Wild Black Starion in the 1980's Hollywood film "Cannonball Run 2" The sucess of this film in the U.S. made the Starion a hit with many U.S. motoring entheusiasts. "

OKAY!
I made the mistake of saying it was Starion, when I haven't ever really looked at a Starion before, from memory I was basing my facts on what I saw in the clip, not what the Starion actually looks like!

I thought it was just a bigger version of the Cordia, but I looked and !

WOOPS I AM A FOOL PEOPLE...

I have pretty much confirmed that it is infact a Cordia that Jackie is driving, I have made an image blending a cordia and the vehicle in question... The dynamics are practically identical, except for a slight angle variation...

And if I could get my Geocities to work I'll upload it and show ya's!

Thats not a Cordia, I'm not sure what it is, but its not a Cordia. and if it was a cordia, its undergone extreme body customisations. First of all, the mirrors are mounted higher up on the A-pillar, The indent in the door is different to that of a Corida's and the door has an air vent on it. This apears to be an open top model, while maintaining a solid rear window, which also clears the hight of the seats by a lot more then the cabriolet version of the Cordia does. The front fender is also different, the factory flares on that car are effected by the indents that runs along the doors, where cordia ones aren't. Lastly, the lights are slightly different, this car also apears to have the bonnet reach all the way to the grill, which isn't a factory cordia grill, the Cordia's have a panel inbetween the bonnet and headlights. The fender indicators are missing also. Need I go on? there is no way thats a Cordia.

It's headlights appear identical!

But you're right so much looks changed! I'd say it's something they've built up for the movie, it looks like it'll fall apart! And should have after that jump!

I was referring to the fact that Cordia's have headlight surrounds.

That is not the vehicle in the Jackie Chan video clip!

I blended two images and it appears very similar to a Cordia!
