Brad, what are you doing with the Cordia? Wanna track it? Log onto Driven and chat about it, got some events coming up too.

Grumbles....keep going. 200kw atw is nothing these days! I'm at 206kw atw and should have around 240-250kw atw after some goodies arrive :p

I dont miss the headaches of the cordia. Will never sell it, under a car cover in the carport. Until I have the time and money to keep going on it.
Driving a VYII SS, Love it, starts and drives nice every single time.

Sorta agree, sorta not. If components of cordia weren't so old, might be more reliable. I thought VX/VY's had suspension issues that regularly occur? :P

I'm still planning to fix up my original cordia... only, instead of aiming for a 200+kw atw, gonna look to make it less powerful, more practical/reliable. So smaller turbo, smaller exhaust. Should be fun from A to B.

i'm now driving an S14 series 2..

still got the cordia, just defected and without rego :( still came 2nd in a sound off i trailered it 2 the other week haha.. got 139.4db.. not 2 bad or a first attempt :)

the s14 is a better car 2 get in n drive (but the cordia isn't tuned properly either so that has alot 2 do with it..)

had a few dramas with the s14 though, had a front ender with a tree on slippery rd at nite, got it all fixed up n painted now blew a gearbox when driving normally (wasnt being silly!!), bloody $800 for a 2nd hand box :S thats one thing i miss bout the cordia, parts are cheap (if u can find them lol)

but yeh prob never sell the cordia..

Yeh I havnt been game enough to chuck it around yet, There always seems to be to much traffic. It steps its self sideways enough in a straight line anyway.
I still think jet-gsr would spank it from 100-200kmh..def no mitsubishi

Not bad. Costs a fortune to modify cars now it seems.

the speed limiter dont exist any more... But when it did the xr8,xr6 sedans are limited to 230kmh(fpv's are 250kmh I think), whereas all the utes/xr8 xr6-t/fpv etc etc are limited to 180kmh due to thier diff setups also xt sedans are also limited to 180kmh

it costs alot to modify car's reguardless if you get someone else to do it.
When I had the cordia engine built, it cost over twice as much As I have spent on the ford so far. :? I dont wanna think about it lol. (if i spent that much on bolt on's on this i could have about 400-440kw at the wheels... But would probably pop my engine!

Although I haven't had the chance to give it a thorough wash and detail as of yet, I thought I may as well post in here seeing as i've owned the Evo for almost a month now.

It didn't take long for me to start throwing money at it lol!! I picked up a set of genuine Rays Ralliart Evolution R-01 rims in gunmetal recently (18" x 8.5) and then purchased some new Kumho KU36 rubber... I also chucked in my Eclipse DVD headunit with reversing camera from the Cordia. From a performance perspective, it currently remains unchanged from the day that I purchased it from Jon.

After all this, i'm almost financially in the red, so i'll have to wait till next year until I can see some power parts added as well as a few more carbon fibre bits. :P
