semi synthetics don't really come in 15w40. they're more common as 10w40. 15w40 95% of the time is a mineral oil.

Since the diff between 10w40 and 15w40 isnt much it would probably be better for you to use 10w40 as it is more available in a broader range of oils. Im aslo quite sure 10w40 is recommended for the Cordia by Mitsubishi.
