Spoke to the owner of the company this morning, he wants to see some pics of the car so he can see the damage then we'll go from there. Can hold off the cavalry for a few more days.

Thanks for that Brian, will be drafting one up ready to send on the weekend.

Out of curiosity, anybody think that is actually repairable. I personally don't, just thought I'd ask because the car was mint apart from that.

hell no... that would be a write off in a car 5-10 years old... let alone 25, get the coin out of them and put it towards something worthwhile, even if it was fixed it would never be the same, not worth the time and stress

Partial resolution so far, they have paid Dubbocordia for his second Cordia that was for sale (an AB) which will be shipped down in the next week - lets hope the guy secures it onto the truck this time.

Remaining negotiations to be finalised today hopefully are that the now trashed Cordia remains in my possession without charge so I can use it to straighten out the AB and make it schmick and my money refunded for what I paid for the original Cordia as well as petrol/loss of income for my wasted day off work due to the driver being a liar.

See how we go, I think getting out of it for under $1000 with a couple of free trips on their truck isn't something they should be whinging about!

Now I get the fun part of transferring everything between the cars to make the AB in mint condition.

Just a shout out to Dubbocordia who was the biggest help with this. Were it not for him personally ringing the company and giving them a serve and sorting out the replacement I'd probably be at square one still! Top guy!!!

Atleast not all is lost, and i hope you can finish the project once it starts.

Iv been thinking about this for a few days what my reaction would be and personally i would go freakn mental, but then i do have a temper when it comes to complete stupidity at my expense

took every ounce of self control not to go ape sh*t when I found out! This thread was my vent lol. If I went crazy doubt they would have done anything for me without a fight.

Of course I will finish the project, I'm obsessive so I won't stop until its done! I want it to be driving, boosting, straight and whole interior swapped by the end of the first weekend lol. I dont mind working under spot lights and not sleeping!

oh damn! what a wreckless truckdriver. Once I had my car towed for 4hrs with no straps(just a handbrake).
The car ended up so close to the side of the trailer it was hard to take off without scraping the rims on the side of the trailer, fortunately it didn't end up looking like your car.

Got both cars delivered today, the replacement is a complete bucket of sh*t that would only be good for setting fire to! Absolutely disgusted! A rust hole in the rear quarter the size of my head, window being held in by wood screws, engine in pieces...come on seriously how could you think thats a decent replacement for a perfectly straight and rust free Cordia?

F*cking idiot truck driver, tried to be nice about it. Now I just want my money back!

If anyone wants parts see my parts thread. Got two days before these things are removed from my sight and crushed into a small cube! Devoed, was excited about getting a Cordia again!

Your car: Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo 1984
Of what I can understand, this should be sorted out with a baseball bat
