Hey everybody, ever since i have had my cordia it has been making awful noises from the front suspension untill the day before yesterday it made the most horrible noise followed by the front end of the car dropping in height dramaticly.
Upon inspection the spring has bounced out of the front strut. There was a little bit of rubber around the spring base and was wondering if there should be a rubber ring to secure the spring into the strut, to take up the little bit of freeplay it has?

Hey I have king springs all the way round, but should the spring be sitting on the strut? or should there be a peice of rubber between the strut and where the spring sits? I imagine this would stop the grinding noises?

Your car: MY car? hmmm a black hunk of metal that moves once every year
there should be rubber with out it the spring will move at full lock and can pop out (had it happen to my last set of fronts) not cut springs they were missing the rubber on both ends
