I've been searching around, but i cant seem to find much info on the standard front wheel bearings on the Cordia, and i've never done them before, just swapped out the whole hub. Front left was making a grinding noise, upon inspection the split pin had broken and the hub nut was gradually undoing itself! The rotor has gouged the old caliper, so i replaced that one. So now i'm wondering......

Do ab and ac hubs have the same bearing sizes?
The only bearing numbers i found in search were; LM11749R10 outer and L44649R/10 inner (koyo) is this correct?
Do i REALLY need access to a shop press to do it properly??

Cheersssssssss

Hey mate, i've still got receipts from when i changed my wheel bearings.

Repco - Bearing wheel kit (WBK1134) - $60 each. As far as i know all turbo models are the same. Kit should come with seals as well but if like me you manage to damage a seal, here are the seal part numbers.
CBC - Inner seal (M4159) - $12 each. Outer seal (M4172 - MB273309) - $21 each.

And yes you will need a press to pull the hubs apart. And don't forget to take out the big circlip. I forgot the damn thing in one hub, broke a 30mm socket and nearly killed a bloke having a beer in the workshop. Good idea to finish the job before having a beer. I would also take a good look at your wheel studs and replace any bad ones while you have the hub apart. Something i wish i did because it's a bugger of a job. Good luck.

Awesome info there Simon, maybe a mod or Kham could "sticky" this thread?

Always difficult to find this sort of information.

I recently bought a set of rear wheel bearings, so might be useful to add to this to complete.

Bursons - Rear Wheel Bearing Kit ("1158 Kit") which consists of 2 GMB bearings w/ parts numbers: L44610 & LM11710 & the seal KB38526.

I'll have to dig up the receipt for pricing.
