Nice............but where's the drivers side rear quarter body moulding?

Did you sell it to someone here in SA?

Have wrecked many metallic red ones here over the years.

No sold it to Phraser of this forum, he worked on the body and than sold it to someone.

Whenever they get sold unfinished they usually end up at the wreckers...

Gone. never saw it again.

Engine was sold to gsr_007 Doug, he sold it to someone else , have no idea.

But BBS wheels you see in those pics good old Doug is selling them back to me after 10 tears to finish the beast!!!

He kept them all these years just for me to come across this car and ask for them back. crazy...

Wow Goran! Great to hear from you after more than a decade!
What a incredible find, all the best for the project.

Ah, the early 2000s on princess hwy, great times. Yes I can still see your Cordia flat stick under the S bend popping the most incredible flame coming out of the tunnel.

I still shudder when I think of my good silver one being crushed :(

After selling my last one (of 11) about 6 years ago, I still have an extremely soft spot for them. Maybe one day I'll track down my original Cordia I purchased 17 years ago eeeeep!
I still have a couple of mates that have them in their garage, tinkering away, so I could suggest a couple of people who might have parts, all mine are long gone though. And parts that were so common 15years ago are now really hard to find.
You said it - when was the last time you saw one driving on the road!

Thanks heaps for the blast from past! I will keep checking for updates.

Stevooo :)

The one and only qualified cordia problem solver hehe

Yep a decade has gone by, hard to believe buddy.

Good old "prinny" runs hehe

Sad to hear that, that silver thing was pushing more power with 1.8 than some Vr4's back then.

Remember the Gtech runs on Ballarat freeway?

I am glad some have kept them, spoke to DannyV the other day, he still owns his , good on you Danny :)

I think I wrecked 3 of them myself :( but this one will be saved no matter what hours are required to put it back together..

The whole things needs to be done .. everything...

Freaky thing is that I had very nice cars over the years but for some reason I always kept my cordia KEY on my keychain... meant to be I guess :)

Hello old friend.

Everyone is popping up :) Good to see.

That is interesting, would love to know what you know about it.

Milos sold it to Mirko, back in 2004, I was told he sold it to some guy called Nikola from
Hampton park. He had it for a long time.

The body shop guy I got it from said he got it off him or something like that.

Where do you fit in this story? hehe

For sure Travis, maybe a meet up at the carpark in Burwood, the place we always used to meet?

Just spoke to Travis, apparently car had its engine removed to go into an EVO, couple of years ago at Techsport.

Travis picked it up from Techsport in Bayswater and after that the owner wanted it back , from there it ended up with Mike at
Universal Kustoms in Clayton , who knows Nikola.

It’s been there for a while until I came across it.

Travis, said rear brakes were sized so he removed the pads so it can roll.

One more thing to fix….

The magna brakes do that after a while with the handbrake left on!

With it in the off (or down) position, seizing is not a problem.

They are pretty easy to overhaul though, plenty of threads on here of how to do it.

Haha Nick Nick and his white Vr4

What happened to him?

Pics below

I took the bucket seats out and that awful rear seat, standard Cordia interior to go back in with a stock turbo steering wheel.

The Cracks I was talking about, it needs welding and it has to reinforced all with new steel.

Got couple of great mates , panel beaters and welders to give me a hand.

All those years of VR4 pulling at the front, yeah it's been very neglected :?

the front rail was the most worrying , but if you strip it down it might end up being just filler thats crack

It is not as bad as it looks but it has to be done right, cannot progress until this is done right.

Rail has that crack but it is only on the bottom of it, it hasn't cracked all the way around.

That has to be welded and a new steel plated welded on the side and on the top of it.

Wheel arch crack, also looks solid but same thing there, left panel has to be removed so we can have a good look at it.

I cannot see any cracks from inside the engine bay, that's good.
