Your car: DOHC 2.3 VR4 85 AB GSR
Immaculate Stock 86 AC GSR
As per specs:

Width: 10.89mm
O ring: 11.50 OD .....8.65mm ID
Neck length....12.70mm with rubber
Impedance.......02.6 OHMS

900cc njectors will still make the engine run rich.........best to use a rising rate adjustable regulator.........pretty hard to do on a cordia, will need to take into consideration the 90 psi fail safe of most fuel pumps!

There is also these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuel-Injector-AIRTEX-4G1820-fits-84-86-Mitsubishi-Cordia-1-8L-L4-/122045770519?fits=Model%3ACordia&hash=item1c6a7eab17:g:IwcAAOSwAPlXiAcp&vxp=mtr though would turn into a very costly purchase.

yes if you can afford over 500 dollars per injector.
the other thing they can't tell me if its for AB or Ac model injector.
they assume all models are the same.

got the reply from injector people .

G'day Fernando!

Sorry for the delated reply.

We have 2 types I have in mind

One has a "neck" diameter of approx 10.40 - with a length of 16mm (or 11mm with buffer in place). overall length of injector 72mm

the other has a neck dia of 10.6 with a length of 11mm. Overall length of injector is 73mm

Both of the above use a 11.5mm dia o-ring

I hope this is helpful!

Kind regards

Steve

what you guys think?

Sounds good, did you get any pics?

The injector top with the pressure regulator will require a 7mm spacer and longer bolts, are they still the bosch type plug?

The main spacing 12.7mm from the buffer might be a problem, as they come in at 11mm, can the buffer be shaved down to fit?

Thanks for the hard work, appreciated.

If you use 750 (or unleaded injectors) in an AB you will have acceleration and boost problems, the engine will idle but not perform, not too mention the engine will run lean on boost as the ECU can't supply enough fuel as the AFM gives the ECU the digital signature.

the guy gave me 2 choices

2-the other has a neck dia of 10.6 with a length of 11mm. Overall length of injector is 73mm

this are DENSO plugs are different ,they supply connectors for them
i might do a video of all the work hopefully i don't blow my self up

my question is wish one do i get?
