after i had smoke poring out of exhaust
had valve stem seals replaced after 6 months second time round
only cheap crap from ebay so managed to replace them with good ones.
prior to removing seals i had to remove cam, dissy, timing belt etc.
anyway managed to clamp belt so i wouldn't need to fix timing.
having to pull timing cover is pain so i did what i could to prevent that.
put cam same way i took out and dissy.
started car car running rough adjust dissy stalls,if accelerate it stalls.
only starts if i turn dissy all the way towards inlet manifold if i put it
half way it stalls.
it runs rich i think that's reason why it stalls.
thought maybe the timing belt moved so took timing cover off
checked timing was fine.
thought maybe tps needs adjusting voltage is good .
i have no idea what hell going on feel like taking car to tip
i thought maybe i bent valve so i have check compression on all 4's 125psi as well as spark good.
any help please

i have tried mate if i change it just a tooth will only turn over will not start.
is flooding cause i remove injector plugs crank it and them starts.
after it runs i put plugs back in try to accelerate and is like stalls or make a air escape sound them dies.been thinking about it all day my son has no idea .
thought maybe could be fuel regulator faulty can cause fuel build up in inlet manifold making it flood.
was going to get mobile mechanic to have a look
but they charge 100 just to come to house ,them his gonna scratch his head like my son saying car too old tech need old mechanic.
was hoping to find someone like you in sydney to get job done i will pay no problems .
after this ordeal im sick of car now :(

What's the error checker saying?

Do you have any codes?

took it for drive it has some blue smoke coming out when car hot @ idle but not much like before.
it doesn't smoke while i drive.
im thinking maybe oil left in afm from before.
the only thing i find odd is once i accelerate to 1500rpm and stop ,revs come down slow to 1100rpm
then straight down to 900rpm it doesn't come down slow.
im thinking possible the pink and black thing attached to vacuum and dizzy.
i got black side to dizzy and pink to manifold.

The one way valve is correct, the idle dropping sounds normal to me, as the ECU needs to see the idle switch in the idle speed controller, if you have no position code error it wont be a problem.

i had 3 & 6 flashs before once i got engine running good i adjusted tps & isc them i reset ecu.
i also used timing light made the dot on the pully in line with T on timing case.
so far so good no error codes.
should get me to work and back.
also will make my wife happy she gets her car back.
wow what a shit weekend i had
i never driven cordia where revs just drops instantly .
normally drops gradually but if you say that's normal.
the other thing i noticed is factory boost gauge stays 1/2 way when im driving.
normally stays down only goes up when i give it.

Your engine needs more timing, don't align the timing mark with the "T" on the timing light, move it to approx 10 degrees before top dead centre......this will increase the engine idle a little and improve idle.

With the boost gauge you have the map sensor in the wrong port on the throttle body, move them over until the boost gauge remains in the lower position.
