Hey all, Last week i pulled my plugs out and found this:

The order left to right is from the timing case back to the gearbox.

Then i swapped them all around so the fourth plug went into the second cylinder( from timing case) And also put in a new dizzy cap, rotor button, tightened the actuator, and actually put an air filter in it (didnt have one when i bought it) drove for a week heres the result:

Anyone know what this means? They dont look right......
Cheers, James. :?

too much boost. 2 middle ones lean, outer ones rich. you have TB injection.

What boost you running?

18-20psi this week when i wasnt careful!!But that was only once or twice (Broken Actuator) now thats fixed ill be running 16psi.
But that photo was taken after idling for 5 minutes and then giving it a few revs in neutral then idling for a minute. Any carbon deposits like the ones on the outer too should have burned off while idling (in theory?)

ehhh. no. and that's too much boost, unless you're tryina blow your engine. 15-16psi max. for stock injectors and TB injection. If you want it to last, run 10.

The standard cordia intake manifold has preference for cylinders 2 & 3.............it's usual for cylinders 1 & 4 to be a little carboned due to it's design (longer runner).............that's the downfall of Throttle body injection.

What you see is normal.

Center plugs are fine. Black/dark body and grey-white electrode is actually quite good, those 2 are running well. I agree with what Andrew said.
