I kept the e101 ( knock control box ?) in the std position on the firewall as this is
your ignition system, the knock sensor is already wired to that .
The factory map sensor was not used and therefor taken off.
the microtech has its own map sensor, just run a vacum line from the inlet manifold
to the microtech. Just wire it a per the diagram but also wire up the tps to the ecu ,
on the wolf ecu i used map for normal fuel control but used the tps if i needed control
idle and also to clear a flooded engine ( full throttle while cranking )

Basically, it's not used........the E101 only needs to see the pressure difference to cut the ignition due to overboost..........your new ECU should take care of this.

The boost sensor needs to be connected for the E101 to be able to retard the timing if there is knock detected, as knock control only works above a certain pressure. The boost sensor also is needed for the boost gauge in the cluster.

Thats how i wired mine, as far as boost sensor is concerned i through it away. i changed the
indash boost gauge ( useless anyway) to volt meter. I don't know for sure sure if the knock
sensor works without boost sensor but the engine seemed to behave different with knock
sensor unplugged ( may have been my imagination though) either way the ignition system
worked fine as i ended up with over 200hp atw not to bad from an 1800.

As said in the pm , i wired up as per above diagram and i did not use the boost sensor you can
disconnect the pressure wire that goes to the e101.
The e101 is needed as it runs the coil for spark. You could throw it away and buy the bosch ign module
but that seemed like a waste of money to me as my ign was working fine
