As people know from previous posts,
I had to transfer my vr4 engine. Into evo85s
Rollin shell. And clear the defect. After bout
2 years of mucking around. Im Glad to say its
Back on the road :)

Just wanna give shout out to everyone from
This forum who has helped me out with
Parts and info etc. especially Bitza

Although back on road, still far from finished.
And this thread will be about all the mods etc I
Wanna do to it.

Look forward to driving it and moding it in the future :)

hopefully get the front springs back in next weekend and strut brace, then ready for an alignment,
feels bit funny on the road.

Tacho wire is white........you can get it closer by "peeling" the drivers side loom open to find it.........that way you won't have to join it off of the rear of the cluster.

I really need new rims, as my 2 rears are buckled and all 4 are gutter rashed.
but having trouble finding some decent
4 stud 114.3, 17" 7.5-8 inch wide rims, everythings bloody 5 stud these days

anyone know of any good rim places in adelaide area, that might be able to help?
tried the main stream tyre places like b- jane and beau, not many choices in that size :(

Yesterday went bit crazy lol. Was thinking
Of doing up stereo system. Was just gonna
Get prices, but they were having sale.
Lol so ended up spending 1.5k on speakers, sub and
Amps. Alpine type r splits, 6x9s. Wanted to get
A type r 12" sub too. But wouldn't fit in brads
Custom sub box. So had to get a type s sub.
Alpine mono block amp and 4 channel amp
Should pump alright lol. Gonna be a busy
Long weekend lol.

today put the tach in, originally wanted to put on steering column
but obstructs to many things, cos its so ridiculously too big lol.

so just put it in the monitor gap, for now till decide what to do
wanted it mainly for shift light though anyway
Image
but put shift light here still
Image

as for calibration wasn't sure wether it was 1 or 2 ppr, i tried 2 first, but normal tach was reading just
below 1000rpm and tach only showing a few hundred rpm so switched to 1ppr and the idle
was close, but when took for drive nearly 2k out, so switched it back to 2ppr, idle is out but when driving
along at most 500rpm out which is better than 2k i guess. but thats the only 2 settings for 4cylinders :(
oh well just have to remember to set the shift light 500rpm lower than i want it for now :/
its an autometer anyone else had probs with these?

tomoz will start on audio, prob tackle the sub first :)

Image
Image

removed the kenwood 6x9's
Image

and whacked the type R's in but because have limit room between
the parcel shelf and amps underneath had to get some angled vinyl covered spacers
