does anyone know if theres a hi flo oil pump sold for the cordia? in replacement of the original? after something that pumps a little more than the stock unit.

I don't know of any, however i wouldn't go looking for a cordia one. i would suggest you look for an VR4 or EVO 1 2 and 3, its more likely they have made such a thing for these models. The oil pump on cordia motors is the hole front timing cover, and i'm pretty sure (never actually tested) but the front timing cover on these motors should fit on a 1.8lt or 2.0lt 4g motor.

The SOHC 4G63 motor uses a different sized oil pump to a 1.8lt, if u wanted you could get one of these. Also you might find some of the mitisi engines that used hydrolic lifters have bigger pumps standard and might fit in the cordia motor.

mine is a g63 sohc, and it did have hydraulic lifters.... your telling me theres a difference in the pumps sizes between the 1.8 and 2L ? if so where can you buy a 2L pump from? i have spare 1.8's i assumed there the same size... have you compared??
