There is member who is selling all the gear you will need for 4WD And for only $700!!! Shoot him a pm his user is Gooch. Here is the thread viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15519

He is located in Brisbane which seems to be a little problem for us Melbourne guys. But I have purchased from him in the past and he was reliable.

That being said, apparently the floor pan needs to be changed. So, my advice would be that unless you are willing to hack into your $5500 car for a project which you may never accomplish it may not be worth it.

Many owners such as Andrew (Bitza), Brad (Evo85), Mike (ENGNRD), Tim (Frontn), Gooch and myself have considered and/or looked into the conversion, but have steered away as it all seems to be far more effort than its worth. In all honesty do your self a favour and buy an evo/gsr.

Good luck mate.

Nice to see I am still worth a mention on this forum. :P Thanks Koray!

Please don't waste your time and money with the 4wd conversion. Buy an Evo! ;)

i do have to agree with koray... i love cordias to death but it is at the point where your going to poor thousands of dollars and lotsa time into the car to not add anything to the value, early evos are getting cheaper and are faster

i'm still keen to make a tiny 4wd fun car in the future but if/when i do it will be a mirage or 2 door lancer i reckon, just something a bit more modern

Maybe that's why it blew up.............running REALLY lean!

Ask luke what he got when he had it on the dyno last, He will tell you as it is. (the car is running evo yellowtops last time I heard)
I have no doubt the build would be capable of those outputs(with the right boost/ fuel delivery.) But the bloke selling it is talking it up ALOT. the exhaust manifold has discolored and turned blue....looks to be very lean

the car definitely needed a tune, having test drove it a little while ago and if i remember correctly..was only running 14psi or so but it was running quite rich. not too sure if luke ended up getting it tuned before he sold it or not but as everyone else has stated, would be a shame if this car or the engine for that matter end up in pieces.
