Its a shame about such a good cordia. Even so I dont think its worth the $2000 now he has completely stuffed the motor  If it was a little less I would nearly consider getting it and fixing it up.

Bah that's rubbish that it ain't worth 2k. id pay 2k for that shell without a motor. its a gem!!! Spend 2k you got a decent motor back in her and still a cheap cordia. was worth more than 3.5k to start with. i was considering getting it as well as a daily just to see it stay loved in the community. Even better if you're going to get it slow86gsr...ring the prick and give him 1500 for his efforts wrecking...he doesn't deserve a cent more!!!

Have just spoke with the new owner(have met him b4, good bloke) and am going in to have a look over it....turns out its not a case of thrashing it too much at all. Just one of them things that happen from time to time.

I have been dreading selling it since i heard and i will tell you this car was looked after and cherished but boost comes on so hard in this thing that a new driver could quite easly have blown the motor by bouncing it of the revlimiter so often.
Who knows These things do happen apparently a piston grabed which threw the belt which fudged the head I don't know i if that even sounds right.
It is still a great car and everything else in the car is in perfect condition it needs a motor which one could find quite easily I mean there is always wreck on here with VR4 conversion getting sold or trying to be sold, there have been a few from up QLD and stuff so if someone was to grab it and do some work on it they got a beautiful car.

Any yep Tony it is your old car in the pictures ;)
