Wow, way to drag up an old thread.

In answer to your question though, they aren't generally bought as a daily driver. And in my opinion you'd have to be an
absolute nutter to want to drive around a 30 year old car everyday of the week.

People buy them as a project, or thinking they'll offer cheap performance and then realise that there just aren't the parts,
bolt-ons or mechanics around who want to tune/work on them. That and priorities in life change.

My own Cordia has been off the road for over 3 years now, I've since replaced the turbo gasket and it runs, but I don't have
the money to register and insure it and am waiting on the cash to do my engine conversion. If I wasn't so attached to it then
I probably would've e sold it by now, but even when it is done up I'm sure as hell not going to drive it every day.

Once the AC is finished it will be my daily drive........why waste something you have restored?

I think your AC would be an exception to my statement Andrew, as I'm sure there are very few Cordias that have been maintained or
restored to the standard that yours will be when complete.

Mine is my daily (and only car) and has been for the last 4 years since I got it back on the road. It could do with a respray and the gearbox needs some attention though....
