Estate tax is quite common in a lot of countries... inheritance is treated as an income, so it's taxed. I don't like the idea of it though, f'ing double-dipping govt.

Death Duties have bankrupted many families in the UK. Can you imaging inheriting some property and then being forced to outly, in some cases, tens of thousands of dollars, or more, in death duties? A lot end up selling everything they inherit to pay the bill.

Death Tax. Hard to believe "aussies" are truly considering this.

The "Blanchet/Rudd photo op summit", woops, i meant 2020 summit.....what a joke. Bunch of soft cocks the lot of them. Metrosexual fancyboy do-gooders achieving sweet jack shit. Looked to me like a room full of vegetarians discussing the latest development in soy harvests. They need to take choppers advice and 'harden the fudge up!'

Reminds me of the simpsons "Please won't somebody think of the chiiiiiildren" kind of useless harping.

The desal plant/water was not discussed. Privatisation of government infrastructure was not discussed. Affordability of petrol, food, housing etc. was not discussed. Basically everything that counts was ignored while they all made themselves feel good because they agreed that "carbon is bad, mkay".

We're all slaves trapped in a system run by servants of self-interest. Theres no escaping it if you pay taxes. We're all fudged!

Not happy Jan!

2020 was just an really bad excuse for kevin rudd to meet people he wanted to. whilst there may have been some good ideas, with the money spent on this shit, could have gone into QLD's health system pretty sure it would do much more good there.

Just another K-Rudd publicity stunt.
