Sent tonight:

Hi Andrew,
A car club member has brought to my attention that you are advertising your business as part of a calendar.

I'm a little intrigued and maybe flattered to notice that you have actually used MY car to promote your business.

I'm unhappy that your customers will ask YOU to make a car like in your advertisement, which you have no knowledge of its build.

Please remove my image from your calendar or I will pursue legal action.

Cheers,
Andrew.

If that doesnt work, maybe we can all call and ask him to make my cordia just like the one in the picture, pretty sure he will get bored before we do ;)

How'd you go? I actually thought Andrew might have had a business on the side when i first saw this and you were taking the piss. It's dodgy as stealing your car's image though.

I initially thought the calendar was a mock-up and this was some kind of joke...............but when I checked the address it was legit!!!

Its pure coincidence that your car is on his billboard.

The person just googled cordia and chose any cordia. Kinda like if someone had a high class smash repair business, they would put up a nice red Ferrari on the advertisement.

Lastly, in this type of case, you should NOT have written "hi Andrew" bla bla bla, as this denotes a friendly casual greeting/notification and your initial point of contact as weak. Hence you received no reply. But if you wrote

Dear proprietor
(Cordia Smash Repairs):

I'm contacting you regarding your company billboard.

It has come to my knowledge that bla bla bla bla.

Your welcome.

Mate who cares?...........better to lead with a friendly gesture then divulge the actual problem, I wasn't nasty in any way.

And why is it a coincidence?..............that photo is NOT available on the internet, and my car is not like a Ferrari, it's a one of which no one else has, so basically ITS MINE!........and please leave your opinion to yourself.
