Smarter than me on paper anyways.
I guess the degree of tardation would have something to do with it. I'd always be a friend no matter how fudged they are after the hypothetical accident. I reckon you'd need friends far more than boyfriends if something like that happened.
Dunno.... Loves a funny thing.... and not much in life lasts forever anyways.

Staying with them because you feel obliged to is worse then leaving them, because your not being honest, i.e. letting them know how you feel/ what you think etc.

And like Dimondstar said, nothing lasts forever (99.9% of cases) so that should be enough to clear up your conscience if you need :D And most people in that physical state, do need more friends than boyfriends' to help her day by day.....it would be very hard for a boyfriend (mentally) to do that for the rest of his life, if you were married, and had kids then the situation would be different :wink:
