I was really spectacularly badly tuned previously, lol.

I agree slodia, the next thing you'd want to be really worried about is blowing your turbo
I ran my 14b at 19 ish psi for about a week efore one of it's blades fell off just to offer one case where the limits were found. It's up to you wether or not you risk it.

Steal wheels should handle well over 20psi.. Of course.. it comes down to the condition the turbo is in....

alltime: I think 20psi is a bit too much for a stock motor with some boost pumped though it, injectors will be close to maxing out, and stock computer with AFM would be restricting flow at that amount of power anyways as i can hear a really loud wistle coming from AFM when hitting 15psi...

mine at best before i found out i was loosing boost throught the actuator,my 1 way valve was allowing to boost in the actuator, instead of staying shut at boost,86kws at the wheels,140 hp.

he has an aftermarket computer and larger injectors.
with no intake/exhaust restrictions, the right fueling and good tuning 20psi is fine for the vr4

hypertek pistons, rebuilt motor, vr4 jdm cooler, stock afm injectors etc, 20psi day in day out downt he freeway to worka dn back, no ill effects so far..hi flow tc06.....i might actually tap into the injector circuits and see what duty cycle they are running at..see if they are getting a bit close to causing a lean out....but like i said, no ill effects as yet...been doing htat for a while now..:P

I have a feeling that these results are majority at the flywheel, not at the wheels, when i looked at the computer screen i saw 547nm of torque,i thought it was at the wheels but it was at the engine. My 1.8 has very same mods like other 1.8s,they qoute like 107-125kws at the wheels, thats so untrue, its at the flywheel.

I quoted 107kw. It was at the wheels. It would've gone higher if it wasn't running so lean.

dyno results are at the wheels unless u take ur engine out and run it on an engine dyno. cordias are stock 110kw at the flywheel. they are old tho so its probally less.

thay can calculate an approximate flywheel figure. using drivetrain losses. i.e how much power is lost through the drivetrain. the average figure used for a RWD car is like 27% or something.

I have 170kw atw on 13.5psi with my 2.6 starion.
and 136kw atw on 8psi with my VR4 sigma.

When starion at 8psi it makes 4kw more than sigma.
Starion has a T4, Sigma has VG30

roger, AFAIK, astaroth, alltime, and quite a few others are still members of this forum (even if you have driven many to the brink of leaving), and so your claims of "NONE" are ridiculous. get your facts straight. Obviously you are misinformed about this forum, so who knows about your engine's output. only a dyno run will prove your big mouth.
