it will be the autotech dyno in canberra, oft used place of dyno comps, so fairly accurate i guess. I'm going to be running a peak of 24-26psi. hoping for around the 200kwatw mark, but well see, the state of tune is pretty piss poor so that might drag it down a little.

nope, it's a dyno day, not a tune. if i get some feed back i might be able to make minor tweaks while i'm there though.

you can get a similar looking manifold of ebay through ss autochrome
4 $400, i've looked into getting that turbo also, buzzengines called it a GT37 when i asked em. precision engineering in the states make em, with all garrett parts, T04E comp cover i think they are, and from what they told me, they will bolt up to the stock manifold of any TD/C0# manifold but you will have to "bang" in the water pipe so it clears the comp cover, custom dumpy, oil lines etc. they say lag isn't really an issue because of there fully sick aerodynamic design.. blah blah. apparently suppose to flow 5-700hp of air depending on exhaust a/rs etc (which personally i think is bullshit cause every car i c with this turbo never turns out any amazing numbers). when i was interested in purchasing this particular turbo, i also found out that they've had a few problems with them due to lack of oil supply.. probably nothing to worry about but, i thought id share the info. the precison website is: http://www.precisionturbo.net/turbochargers.php ... if you get it yourself out of the states like i was gonna do, you can have it at your door for around $1200au.

i've bin in two cars, both were GSR lancers. and considering the size of the turbo, i was dissapointed to say the least. amazing numbers to me is 300+kw @ wheels, considering the turbo is apparently capable of flowing upto "700hp" it should be piss easy to get 300kw out of it. i'm not trying to pay you out, i'm just saying i've never seen a car or bin in one that should go as good as it looks. nice stractors btw.

Well The turbo is obviously capable of putting out more than 300kwatw

but you must understand the gsr's engines probably Wernt tuned enough for it, So in respect it's not the turbo's fault the car's arnt putting out Higher figures

yeah, they say the turbo is good for shitloads, i think buzzengines own car only made somthing like 400hp, with fully worked internals, nos, custom plenum etc... that's nothing spesh considering it had nos, cams etc. all the gsr's that i've bin in with this turbo were with the 4g63 motor, both with stock bottom ends, but cams/headwork, microtech, one with ems, both of them made around the 230kw mark at stupid boost levels (20-25psi). which is pretty much at the end of the turbo's efficiency boost range anyways. so how they come up with that it'll support 6-700hp or wateva is beyond me, maybe if you wind in like 60psi or sumshit

and what he said,... piss of the standard intake, that shit would be killing it.

i know the throttle body elbow is my restriction it holds it back bad, but i cant spent any more money on her. as for the blue tops thats the haltech they are 780's i have a vr4 in the drive way that i am waiting to drop all this gear on too and try for nice numbers. AAGSR it would still give most a run for there money. im taking her out for one last run next wednesday going for top ten street tyres fwd fingers crossed 12sec pass.......

seeing im after fuel economy on the highway, looking at the dyno chart. Im guessing that would be a bloddy great turbo to have if you were after economy between 2800rpm and 3100 Rpm, Like it wouldent be spooling nearly as soon as a td05 and such therefor increasing economy accross the rev range at 100Kmh
