hi guys well the car took me about 3 weeks by myself that includes stripping it back to allmost the shell with wheels because i wanted to do the engine bay and inside the car.. most of the work like stripping and rubbing it down was done in a car port,,,, but on the day i painted it, it was a fine sunny day with no wind so perfect for outside spraying, the colour is from a ford xy gt phase 3 shaker 1973,,, yellow glow. and its simple to paint the rocker cover and leave the writing on it, just paint the whole thing no masking,,, then with some 320 wet and dry sand paper and a rubbing block go over the eci turbo, writing as it is a flat raised surface , simple as,,,.use paper wet also ,,, hope that helps guys ,,,,, cheers Brian

Ok.... But wouldn't that leave the standard letters as bare metal i.e. prone to rust
