That thing is exactly like a girlfriend.

Hot
Sexy
Sometimes a pain in the ass
and always keeps you poor

On a serious note, remind me to talk to you about the HKS 272's. I wanna know how good they are for street driving and also how useful they are using only a 16G. Im thinking of getting the tried and tested 264/272 combo.

Yeah man, you know shes hot now. Congrats on all you're pain. The proof is in the pudding.

Cheers,
Nick

One question though, how did they extrude hone a cyclone intake manifold?

I wouldent have a clue mate, I Can findout for you if your interested. It's not actually the normal vr4 Manifold it's the non-turbo one Im lead to believe.

Ah yes, NT or Aus VR4 intake. That makes sense as AFAIK it's almost impossible to extrude hone the cyclone manifold.

See how u go with the current turbo before changing. The 16G get's EVO's in the low 12's/high 11's so you should be able to get good times out of it

why do some cordias have the bonnet bulge after the vr4 conversion and others dont? is the engine mounted differently?

AAGSR: Yeh the current turbo is starting to fail and has a few chips on the compressor wheel. (seals I think just finding residue in air filter etc)

I need to change it. I was thinking of just having this one rebuilt but I figured I should really just upgrade it and get it all out of the way, Spend a bit of money on it and if anything go's wrong I can always sell it in the future and not loose to much 8)

Actgsr... Not to sure mate I had it next to another cordia with a vr4 conversion at the last cordia cruise and the motor sit's in slightly different. I think it's just the difference in the design of the passenger side engine mount But i really dont know.

Update's.!
Havnt had time to do much and its just been sitting in the carport getting old. It's about to goto the shop to get the gearbox swapped clutch adjusted , lsd centre installed. some bigger injectors and s/s manifold, ext wastegate and a new turbs. Cant wait to boost it beyond 18psi and get it on the strip

I had an xtreme Clutch fitted when it was built..The guys who built it said I'll probably Need to go Brassbutton If this one fails...But It Feels pretty good so far, Not to heavy..Not to light.

At the moment the engine bay is in shambles Coz ive been stuffin round with the 5thgear actuator and The car needs a good vaccume, So i'll Get some pics up this weekend. It's embarrasing atm

Cheerio

that doesn't look like a cyclone intake mani, looks like a us spec dsm intake mani to me
