Hey guys it's a sunday afternoon and im pretty hungover sooo i may aswell write an essay..It's been a long time coming but I finally Got my car back from the shop after the rebuild.

Basically 14 months or more ago The stock motor melted a piston due to a fuelpump failure, I didnt have an a/f Ratio meter...and well That's what ya get!!

But basically the motor was sent away and machined and tested and junk. But now features a few stronger components

Vr4 Engine
Forged arias 2618 Pistons,
Scat Connecting rod's
Scat Balanced crank
Balanced Flywheel
Hks headgasket
Hks Valvesprings
Arp 190,000psi Stud Kit
New Bearings in motor
Timing Belts upgraded n shizzle
Autronic Smc Computer
Hks 272 Degree camshafts
Hks Camgears
Intake manifold was extrude honed
The Stock pump ran outta huff and puff and was changed to a bosch intank 600hp pump.
td05 16g turbo and stock injectors...Yawnnnnn.

After 1000kms It was dyno'd at 164.8 Fwkw @ 10psi I need to do another few thou Before I go to crazy But when I get some New injectors...i'll take it in for another few maps and Dial up 15-18psi until I can afford a gt35
But at the moment It's Plenty enough

At the moment Im trying to source some parts for a brake Upgrade...If anyone has anything laying around, Let me know! :o There is No point Going Fast in a straight line and not being able to pull up.

AS

NAILS Tom, well done!

Can't wait to see it in person. Is the colour a standard colour or is there some candy running in it? Whatever it is, its the best red colour - Usually never a fan

Does she pull chicks...dont lie..

thanks guys!

It's actually a peugot shade of burgundy.I think its called "valenquish" by memory, About the chicks....Ive only had a few in the car, But are to busy Holding onto the doorhandle than to mention the car  But it's wierd I do get people asking what type of car it is from time to time at servo's..

D3bb4, It made 160kw @10psi the last time, then 170@kw On 12psi on a different dyno, Also Now the fuel mixtures are a lot richer and the car has more torque comparing the dyno printouts. feels about the same to drive

P.s Thanks fo the wheels nick lol

I wouldent have a clue mate, I Can findout for you if your interested. It's not actually the normal vr4 Manifold it's the non-turbo one Im lead to believe.

another Q: wtf clutch you running?

I had an xtreme Clutch fitted when it was built..The guys who built it said I'll probably Need to go Brassbutton If this one fails...But It Feels pretty good so far, Not to heavy..Not to light.

At the moment the engine bay is in shambles Coz ive been stuffin round with the 5thgear actuator and The car needs a good vaccume, So i'll Get some pics up this weekend. It's embarrasing atm

Cheerio

ey tom, just so you know. I have been taking my cordia round some twisties at night, the route we're taking on the cruise, you should get away with minimal braking, it's all gears. Mostly 3rd and 4th, i think 2 corners are second! it's pretty tight, but mostly up-hill so brake fade won't be an issue (well it wasn't for me with stock AB brakes)
