I finally got my BOV & Crossover pipe back today (after 4 weeks), suprisingly it only cost me $30 to have the plate made and the pipe fitted to the crossover... I own a Blitz BOV so it was a little more difficult to fit than simply screwing onto a pipe!

Here's a photo of the finished result! What does everyone think??? :D

Extreme choice for a cordia that has no intercooler, i mentioned this in the other section. What power increase are you expecting.

It's a BOV. It doesn't increase power

True, I've just realised that maybe this BOV is a little strong for my low 10psi setup... It only blows off (quietly) at over 5000RPM with the adjusting screw all the way out!

Is there a weaker replacement spring I can buy???

In that case i would suggest you relocate the vacume souce hose, because as you know the little vac nipples on throttlebody are almost leass than half the size of the nipple on the bov. Get a better vacume connection and see how you go. And if its still not venting, cut the spring up gradually with wire cutters, dont cut too much off, just do but by bit, that should weaken the tension.

Awsome! Thanks Gsr2vr4!

I've also just rang Blitz Australia and the dude said that with the screw wound all the way out it should blow off nicely at 4psi, so it's likely to be the vacuum source. He told me to disassemble the BOV, clean it, and regrease it... I'll keep ya'll informed! ;)

Looks trick for sure! :) But I think the dollars woulda been better spent elsewhere before welding a bov to a non intercooled cordia turbo engine. Coz when you decide to intercool that pipe gets thrown in the parts bin. But it's very cool looking all the same!!!

Hehehe! Yeh about 25psi should have things "blowing off" quite nicely!!!

I found out why it wasn't blowing off very well, it was coz the vacuum hose was too small, I installed a vacuum hose with a bigger hole and she blows off with practically any boost now!!!! :D

VERY SEXY TO DRIVE! hehe ;)

And it was only $30 to get the pipe done anyway, I don't have a job so it's my only option at the moment... can't really afford an IC... But when I do the BOV will certainly be going on the new cooler setup! :D
