its the ignition!! hahah you whip up the red cover flick the switch that inluminates up the light in the centre then the fun begins Hit the Red button to start (with key in ON position) the panel is just sitting there and can easily be pulled out and the first switch disconnected ( to stop the THIEVES!) It was like that when i bought it everything on the car is as it was bought for 1 grand (nzd) I've only had it for 1 week and 1 day lol

Ok, first thing...........do your hazard lights work?

If not, there is a gold relay under the drivers footwell that controls hazards and indicators, you need a pretty adjustable neck as the relay is up under the dash.

Replace the unit with an electronic one, and your troubles should be gone!

yeah hazards are no go when the indicator isn't going.. tell me about it, flexible neck indeed had to have the seat flat and lie feat to the back to get a good look.. i pulled it out the other day to get a replacement but never got to town. should i just be able to get a generic one from repco?
thanks

Yes, but please buy the electronic one, as the old style round relays are crap, or if you have the time get one from a wrecker,.............if available.
