Nice, I am in the process of building one too, you can never have enough space.

Parts are getting harder to find.

Here is a pic of the motor, its had a hard life this one, this is after a clean up and some paint,

still got to finish the balance shaft delete kit install , Im making the oil pump and oil filter housing gaskets myself, and then just to reinstall everything with a updated turbo

and on the car I want to swap it back to power steering, but do I get a electric pump, or fit a electric power steering to the existing column ?, also magna booster and master to go in also, Do I bother fitting back the aircon?

issues so far,
Balance Shafts both, I found both rear bearings in the sump
crank pulley has a broken bolt
radiator brackets broken
every oil seal was leaking
tc06 had a tial gate which was leaking
dump pipe was also leaking, with a cracked gasket

I might change the intercooler system also, and make it abit quieter too, its a straight pipe to a muffler at the rear

Im not working for a few days, so tomorrow is finish off the rear main and oil pump gasket, maybe start swapping the power steering, and brake and clutch gear over too

Top stuff, yeah bit of a trip from QLD to VIC. Mine was good but had issues of its own.

Actually ended up selling it, to a young bloke on the gold coast. Seems to be fully into the hot hatch dream, good base for him. He just needs to do some basic mechanical stuff, and get the car painted. He got a bargain IMO.... hahahaha

You never get tired of looking at 4g62's with all it's issues it is still nice little engine.

Looking good Travis,is that Nashstyle's cordia or the other silver one?

I remember that thing going back 18 years.. Good to see it is still around,

Good time to get things done. I've started rebuilding the VB, made a huge progress.

Body is ready for primer, engine bay almost painted, interior almost done.

Did you guys see this?

its a new Cordia I picked up, its not Nashstyles old one, the Motor is hopfully going to be ok when its complete, it seems like its had a rebuild to that long ago, but cheap seals were all leaking

there is alot of VB Parts at Imlachs too, they are wrecking 4 I think

I seen the Video, its amazing that they did it
