The intercooler looks to be one of the good copies, nice buy. This thing is starting to come along nicely man, I cant wait to see it at a cruise once your done :)

Funny story: A mate of mine ordered an ebay cooler once (it was one of the shitty ones) and the cooling fins did not even protrude to the other side, lol.
All it did was block air from getting to the radiator.

Post subject:  Re: SIVART's new toy

you have to go for the KLS powerspirit coolers there the best ones , this ones for a evo 7/8/9 bolt on setup , its not to large but I will pressure test it before using it because you never know

I just bought one of these this morning
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 2911wt_924

hopefully it fits ok, I can custom fit it pretty easy though

now looking for a 044 fuel pump and a surge tank, plus multipoint and ecu ( microtech or wolf3d )

thats crazy about the blocked off cooler though :o

Post subject:  Re: SIVART's new toy

will do Doug, Im keen to get it going, but I will run a 4G63 DOHC when I put all that in , theres a bit of extra fab work to be done with crossmembers etc , I might even buy another cordia for a dummy fit process unitl its 100%

I got to meet Davey today , nice to chat with another cordia fan, keep my posted on how your car goes

but I did get the motor out today :) , the turbo has had something hit the blades at some stage, the rear main was toast as the gearbox is covered in oil.
the excedy clutch was not to bad but did have a few hotspots on the cover and flywheel , still had a few launches left it , and one of the driveshafts had a split boot. so Im going to replace the lot while there out along with sway bar rubbers and tie rod ends

has anyone fitted VR4 front struts in the cordia ?

I wasnt sure what color to go with on the altinator, I was thinking it might be overkill , but when the turbo setup is on there it will blend in
