How’s it going guys, thought I’d post up a few pics of my interior re-trim.
It’s taken a while to finally get it to this stage but I’m pretty pleased with the end result. 8)

I’ve done all of the work myself too (minus the front seats and headlining) which adds to the satisfaction of having it almost completed.
Here are some of the specs,

Re-trim includes,
All top panels of dash re-trimmed in black velour
Remaining plastic sections of dash sprayed in matt black
New front door panels including custom 6½â€

There is absolutely nothing to criticise about that!!! I would imagine that the trims would also assist insulating sound. The seats look great as well... :P

Good to see your still around mate. So.....how much would you charge to do mine...seriously?

All up id say i spent around $1000 almost on materials (thats felt, velour, red trim, carpet, paint, mdf, glue, screws etc.) and another $600 for the front seats.
Time wise, it's taken almost 12 months to complete due to other commitments, but you could probably get it all done in a couple of weekends of hard work or so.

I'd be happy to lend a hand, it was a lot of hard work :)

Thanks brad, yea the seats are awesome, definalntly worth the investment :D The trim does assist somewhat in sound deadning, the velour has a foam backing, and behind that i also placed more foam backing, so there's around 10mm of foam deadning :o Still around too, i think iv'e got this car for life, i couldn't imagine giving it away :(
I'd also be happy to give you a hand if you wanted to do yours mate, it's really not that hard, just a little time consuming.

Actually very easy, the hardest part was getting the fricken thing out! Once it was out it was just a matter of using some quick grip glue and pulling the velour tight over it.

Good choice mate, you'll love them definantly worth it! The only issue you might have is if your tall you might touch the roof, they sit a little higher than the stock seats.
