epic cordia , the stock cordia front always looked the best

if you fit a evo 8 bonnet vent , you should also get the evo 8/9 hood insulator , it keeps alot of the water out , I just sold one to a guy with a FTO

Cheers for the comments guys...managed to get the bonnet vent fitted in last weekend, thought i'd prime the whole bonnet while i was at it, it still needs some rubbing back and holes etc filled then hopefully with enough time and some decent weather i can spray some colour onto everything.

More pics below, enjoy :)

Yea mate already got one as you'll see from the pics below, the vent still isn't attached properly, i still have some minor adjustments to make to the insulator that will sit underneath.

it looks right with the vent insulator, if you paint it silver also and put a half cut ralliart sticker on there , its the same as the genuine rallairt one

Another quick update guys...finished the battery to boot install, pretty happy with how its all turned out. The battery will remain hidden underneath my rear boot floor, with two sets of fuses on the right side of the boot for the wiring. I've run a '0' gauge earth from the battery with 2 '4' gauge cables running to both sets of fuses. Then from one I've run another '4' gauge cable to the starter on a 125amp fuse, and the other has a 60amp fuse that runs to the engine bay where it connects to a distribution block for any power leads up front. The other fuse in the boot runs two '8' gauge cables on 60amp fuses for the stereo amps.

it's getting closer now to finally being able to be driven, hopefully i can get it running by the end of the month, i cant wait! :)

Okay Guys, car is now up and running and sounds amazing! :D I personally would like to thank Jon from here on the forums for all the time and effort he has put into helping me get the engine built and installed, his knowledge and experience are second to none and for anyone in Adelaide that needs pretty much anything and everything Mitsubishi looked at, I'd defiantly recommend his services.

All that remains now is a couple of small oil leaks, wheel alignment, brake test done and having the microtech tuned in to suit the setup and she should be drivable...then its off to the dyno to really see what she can do :D

Don't panic guys, the car still exists!

Haha, it'll never be truly finished mate, there's always something still to be done on or something I'm wanting to change!

I did happen to have it up and running for a while there and i must say it was fantastic to drive...I did however run into a couple of issues, one being on of the front ball joints failing and pretty much ruining a brand new tire!

Unfortunately for now though the car has just been sitting in wait, the weather at the moment has been pretty shite, and as I lack enough room or garage space to work on it it'll have to wait until spring / summer until i can make further progress on it...

Thought I'd better post a quick update for you guys, to let you know the cars not dead and still going strong. I'ts back off the road at the moment so I can replace all of the bushes in the front along with touching up a few things here and there. Over the next month I plan to continue fixing up a few paint issues and tiding up the interior again. Here are some quick snaps to show its still there, ill upload some more as work continues

Work continues...I've now replaced all of the front bushes and installed the new ball joints along with giving the underside a quick clean and coat of paint. I've also drained all the old fluids out for replacement and painted/polished what i could in the engine bay to help tidy things up a little. Still have a way to go yet before its back on the road though.

Just a few more quick pics...
