Good for you
I hope it all works well for you.
As you know I'm hopping not to over spend on my car cause if I do I'll never get it back.
At the moment $4,000.00 it includes all the paint materials and everything else I bought.
The other thing all I need is third party insurance it includes thief cause I can repair the car .
If the car cost me 20,000 grand then I would put full insurance.
I would hate to think how much a year.
I would hate to think how much parts are for wrx.
Well put it this way at list you'll have no problems finding parts for new car
As like you I could do the same, this is not the reason I bought the car cause it was cheap No No.
I bought this car simple reason I needed distraction had to much time in my hands.
I needed to build something and be proud of it within a budget .
Now my son has learned a lot cause he wants to be a mechanic.
I feel great about it
Good luck mate

How'd you get that quote for insurance m8? It sounds extremely steep!

Nathan...I built my cordia myself, a few here know of it.
Performance parts are the same price as for the cordia/ VR4. In fact, going from stock power to over 180 at the wheels is easier and cheaper on a rexie. (it actually involves only 1 turbo, 1 fuel pump, 4 injectors and a remap)

Been there, done that and unlike some here, never put anyone down and always offered advice when asked.

i Belive 150kw starting at 13 psi is your stock ECU or after market?
Most importantly what did it cost you?
How old is your car?
Did you restore it you self or did you pay 20,000 grand for someone else to do it for you?

Nathan, please, stop. This route will not get you anywhere. Antagonizing people, trying to prove that you're somehow better, it doesn't work. NOT on the internet. Its just a never-ending cycle of pointless words on the screen. If you want to prove you're better, you'll need to do it on the race track. If you want to say to someone that you're better than them because you did the work yourself, again, you need to do it on the race track.

That's about the gist of it. You've done good, given what you have. We do congratulate you, and we are happy that you've met both your learning as well as technical goals. Its just this defensive attitude of yours, its really puts people off and rubs them the wrong way.
