The build has been delayed another month or so as I have ordered some more shit lol, now the pockets really burning.

Here we have an ACL race gasket kit for the rebuild and a second set of coilovers which are fully adjustable. I will be using this set for street and the others will be left for track work. I decided to go with a second set of coilovers for street as they can be lowered without affecting ANY suspension travel, nice.

I’m still waiting on the new hydraulic tensioner and 3g lifters before I can but things back together.

BC coilovers. They look to be of very good quality unlike some of the other cheap brands which I do not want to bag out on a public forum. Anyhow, as for specs they are type BR with 7 kg spring rates to suite evo123.

-The evo123 tops are good for cordia as you can get away with just trimming the stock holes a tad with a dremel or drill rather than molesting the strut top with heaps of new holes.

-The camper plates are adjustable both + and – without a rotation of the camber plate required.

-There is also quite a wide range in damper adjustability. They are about 30 way adjustable, At least I think so and at just under click 10 the oscillations or the pogo stick feeling goes away and the shock begins to control the spring quite nicely.

But by far the best feature of all is that they can be lowered without the sacrifice of any suspension travel at all!!! which is awesome! Not many companies make coilovers for the early evo’s which are height adjustable in this way at an affordable price.

What about the bottom, do the Evo struts fit up to a Cordia there, as well?

Yes they fit the hub, but unfortunately the brake lines do not. To fit the brake lines you need to do one of the following:

a) Ask the supplier when you’re ordering the coilovers if they can fit a Galant (E39A) lower clevis mounts to the evo coilover.
b) Make two simple brackets (one for each side) which are easy enough to make and can be shaped to run from the evo ABS mounting spot to the line.
c) Cut the stock mount off an old strut and weld it to the evo lower clevis mount (Yes they are thick high quality STEEL) with it removed from the shock body.

Only problem is that it was hard to find a supplier who would sell the fronts only.

Little update.

Finally it is almost end on semester for uni and once again I will have some time to work on her. Hopefully the one month break should be enough to finish the build.

To celebrate I have purchased some more stuff, lol.

Here we have a TME steering wheel ( With no airbag :) ). These are so hard to get a hold of.

And, a Ralliart gear knob which has about 6 gearboxes eat.

That it was. Having said that, it still cost me more than most people are willing to pay for complete cordia’s lol

True, but you will never loose money on that wheel, even if you sell it again later

Umm, that's a hard one to answer.

The parts have all been cleaned and are ready to be assembled. But, there is still a heap of porting to be done on the exhaust side of the head. Then there is the new cams and turbo which i have not even purchased yet.
