The car's been off the road since last November due to a catastropic engine failure but finally she's back...

It's 'nanna spec' at the moment (as i'm running it in). It's not running a BOV and a few other obvious defectable mods ATM; I had to take it to a police station this morning for an inspection to clear a minor defect. Fortunately I was successful! :P

Anyway the new list is as follows:

- JE Forged pistons
- 272/272 BC Cams
- BC H/D valvesprings with titanium retainers
- Fidanza Adjustable Cam gears
- Racing Cam belt (forgot the brand)
- 4 x 700cc Power Enterprise Fuel injectors
- Sard FPR
- New custom polished Aluminium intercooler piping (2 1/4'' hotside and 2 1/2'' coldside) with silicone joiners
- New custom polished Aluminium induction pipe with K&N Filter
- Clear Cam cover
- Stainless steel turbo heatsheild from the UK
- Polished Rocker cover and inlet plenum
- H/D whiteline front swaybar

The hotside cooler pipe isn't polished yet, but i'll worry about that in a week or two when it's run in. Also developing a Rotor combination to go with the 3000GT calipers I picked up a while back to work in-conjuction with the Magna rears (pictured)...possibly 320mm slotted rotors but that hopefully will be sort at some stage this month! :P

Btw, it's a gates timing belt ;)

Know the part # though? The blue ones last 3x longer than normal ones.

Vote for #1 cordia. Shit's done 100% right (even if it cost you a small fortune :P)

Thanks mate. :P The battery was filed in the bin; i've had too many issues with Odyssey batteries.

When you order custom plates, you're in a contract....I didn't bother to renew it seeing as the car was off the road for 10 months. I probably have to re-apply for the plates (if somebody hasn't already taken them) or just get something else. I'm not too fussed at the moment.

i can picture it now

vr4 engine - $10000
performance parts - $10000
paint and body restoration -$10000

The look on evo85's face - priceless :D

but then.... the other look on his face as the boost gauge hits 20 psi in 3rd ;\
I imagine it would look something like http://www.worth1000.com/entries/167000 ... TaCY_w.jpg

Please don't remind me...it gives me nightmares! Fortunately, the cost factor has been spread out over a number of years...and I can tell you that it has cost well in excess of $30,000. Mainly because I have done things twice or even three times in the seach of more power and performance...and I don't like cutting corners! ;)

20 psi? You're selling me short! 25 pounds in third should be a blast if I can get traction!

The car has undergone a few more modifications as of 4:45am this morning - these I didn't ask for....

If it were possible for me to get out of bed and outside 15 seconds earlier, the vandalist would have had a Gray Nicholl's Ultimate wrapped around his head! :x

Yeah mate, it's got an alarm...it was triggered; woke me at 4:45am this morning but by the time I found my keys and was outside, the lowlife piece of shit was tearing off down the road. Lucky for him I just missed him because he would be wearing a cricket bat as a hat!

Two whole days it had to survive out on the street before I could make room for it in my garage (due to renovations). Normally, 99% of the time, it's under lock and key...I just can't believe my luck and the destructive, jealous nature of some people.

So far it's cost $340 for a new front windscreen and I shudder to think of the cost of repairing and re-painting the bonnet and front guard seeing as both of them are modified. These days it's not what's in the car that bothers me, it's the damage they cause along the way!

I'll be suprised if I can get it all back to normal for under $2,000...and after receiving my car back this week, my credit card will be smoking!

I think every feels the same for ya bro utter shock and disbelief

I just noticed the dent in the bonnet. for vandals.... my temper doesn't exist. absolute scum. I really hope you can get it looking mint again without paying through the nose. If i were near you, i'd give you the spare panels. (dunno if they're good enough to be put on your car but as well). Is when wish you could do more, but end of the day... you had alarm, and it did it's job. Thankfully you did the right thing by at least having one! still sucks but.

Thank guys. There's alot of things I would like to do to the monkey but it wouldn't be wise to elaborate over the internet...

I have had two quotes to repair the bonnet and the front guard but i'll probably get one more seeing as it's coming out of my pocket. Repairing the front guard rather than replacing it was the viable option due to the metallic paintwork and the indicator mods (I would have to paint the door aswell if I replaced the panel to make the metallic blend in). There were a few cracks around the scoop from mechanics dropping the bonnet over the years so i'll get that sorted aswell, but not this week :-P

The car looks like shit, but on the positive side, the tuning is spot on and new swaybar has had noticable effects in the handling department. The car's gone in for it's 500km service, further tuning and development and BOV fitting as of yesterday. Also, my car club has a dyno day on the 4th of October, so i'll be aiming to get some more miles under it's belt, more tuning and hopefully get some reasonable numbers on the dyno. :P
