Hey guys, i've blown my fare share of gearboxs over the years in my cordia but this one takes the cake. Me and brodie off this site were doing a bit of a umm...rally when i gave her a bitch too much and all hell broke loose. The gearbox mount bolts snapped off, broke the gearbox in half, cracked my flywheel and clutch to bits..it all had to happen all at once? :lol:

I still got the bellhousing here as a bit of a memory..

LOL yeah fellas it went boombangclunk stall/...tim, i think we agree on how cordias should be driven haha (remember the vic cruise? years ago, good fun)

bitza yeah it was a 8 puk clutch, man did it take some shit too! needed a lead foot to press it in though :S

aaaturbo it was half out before i even touched it ;) lol

also for the record...VW beatle clutch disc fit the cordias, i had to use one of these for 3 days to make it back to my house to rebuild the motor etc lol

thats insane!! can't belive how bad that is hahaha..

i pulled the box outta my cordia in my shed (by myself..), took the flywheel to get machined, re-installed new clutch, drive in drive out a touch over 2hrs :) was pretty happy wit that effort lol..

lol trusty actuator who needs the vac unit.

And cordiaaturbo im not 100% on what it was doing about 200ish but it was bouncing pretty hard thats for sure.. but with it in long ratio mode i got 260KLM out of her on a nice stretch one night 8)
