Hey guys, just wanting to get some insight. does anyone know how to bleed a hydraulic clutch. if u do please post up the techniques/ methods to doing so.

It's the same as bleeding brakes..............open the nipple, push the clutch pedal down, close the nipple, then let the clutch pedal up slowly............continue until there is no air in the system, and don't forget to top up the master as you go.............by the way it's easier with 2 people.

you can gravity bleed the clutch also

what fluid is best to use in the clutch.
Is dot 3 ok
as it says dot 3 on the brake resi.
but doesnt say anything on the clutch resi?

That's what's in my brake and clutch system is DOT 3 fluid.

However, if you have an owners manual, look in there. I don't have one so that's why DOT 3 is in there.
