you're probably better using a fibre enforced bog for those areas where it's rusted through, at least on the other side of it; to give it some support.

Nice work. I hate rust...

going through what your doing now, thankfully not as bad lol

with that sort of bad rust, if your on the cheap mend..dioxidine the rust effected areas, its a mixture of 3:1 of water/chemical rust treater, metal filler or even fibreglass as debb4 said for support, bog, etch prime paint...or, chop chop and do it right by welding in replacement sections..its a fudge

btw, do yourself a favour and once your done..head to clark rubber, or your local rubber supplier and buy a foam compound mat and cut to size to fit around the back of your lights once you fit them back. the lights should seal like brand new, keeps the water flowing through the hatch channel and flow off the lights rather then into the boot :)

cheers

cheers, yeah i put rust converter all over that, then scrubbed it, wax n grease remover on it, puttied and now its etch-primed. But all of this is only temporary till i get my ass into gear and cut out a whole rear end to replace mine! So its just gotta stay rust free for the next month or 2.

don't forget to spray some colour over that primer asap. Primer is still porous, so if you don't colour it; it'll rust again.
