Yeah, its the one I thought it was. Don't freak out, I just happen to know the last 3 owners. Quite a bit of money has been spent on it recently. Can I ask what you paid?

Nah, last time it got defected was with the owner 3 owners ago. It got done, sat in his yard for about a year. Then spent around $800 to get off defect. And then the owner 2 owners ago bought it and spent a bit of coin cleaning it up. He was a member of the forum. Why is it a piece of shit?

Well ive been busy lately. Replaced the fuel filler rubber hose (cost me $60 from mitsubishi!!!), Replaced the flexible section in my exhaust and about a foot of piping too, Changed my dump over and fitted a new gasket, New plugs, Leads, Dizzy cap, Rotor button & Coolant temp sensor. Also tightened up my actuator rod.
Car drives like an absolute dream now! Not sure what did it but it really is heaps better.
Ill get some fresh pics up this weekend. :D

It's probably too late now, but with an engine that old I wouldn't be running 5weight in it. You may find you burn a bit more oil as it is thinner and will be able to seep past the rings into the chamber.
With 4g62's I never put lighter than 10w40. Just something to think about in the future.

ageed, i usued to use gtx2 which i think is 20w-40, i put a thiner grade in once of a better quality oil and the oil pressure was heaps heaps lower as well... droped it out a couple of hundred kays later and went back to the gtx2

the vr4 gets much better stuff though ;)

what panel on bitza?? Off topic a little but do you guys think its worth my while going multi point? Also are the cyclone manifolds on the vr4 the ones i want? As ive seen a few going for $100. Are they a good start to the conversion. Im not in a rush and i have bugger all cash so collecting all the parts slowly is ny aim!

in all reality going multipoint can be throwing cash down the drain, depends on what you think your power hungryness is going to be like... multipoint can net you around 150kw pretty easily and reliabily with some planning and supporting mods, drop a vr4 motor in on a stock loom and thats what your gonna be getting without having to do any more than wire it in and maybe a bigger fuel pump, which means from there you can start pushing past 200 kw, if your gonna be happy with the 150 mark go for multi point, but if you think you might change your mind vr4 is the more logical decision and will save you money in the long run

as for mp manifolds there are a few na galant ones have been used, there is also a hyundai one i think that will give you an intake aver the dizzy which mite suite some intercooler designs

Cheers JiMi, But yeah 150 is my goal. I will be happy with that. Those KW's and a good Suspension and tyre setup should see me to 13's Which is all i really want. And to be honest, For my budget and the price of 4g62's Im definately better off sticking with them so that when they break they are cheap to replace. I have one out the back that i may just rebuild for myself if mit doesnt sell soon..... Is 150kw Possible using TBI? Or is that pushing it? P.s I have a bosch 070 Pump, Its just not installed yet
Cheers, James.
