I’m confused as to why you have been knocked back on your wheel arches, did you not seal the seams?

i am giving it one more chance but there is this new law coming in to play in march for all mechanics that do RWC ant thing that does not seam safe and sound need to under go an engineers test.

i know its an easy fix but i know i will chase this thing for the rest of time if i had the cash.

i am going to give it one more chance i found a guy that does taxies now he must be easy on cars lol as most of the taxes ya get in to are stuffed

fair dinkum thats bullshit for cracked wheel arches, now unless the metal is actually cracked/damaged..you really shouldn't have a problem. car looks great in those last set of photos too!

im still on the path of getting a rwc done too, will let you know how my guy goes..its just a matter of time for me to take it in. pretty much everything is either new, or up to scratch. i've just got a couple of things to do like a the rear brake conversion mounts for the cables, exhaust may be a bit too loud and a cracked windscreen

goodluck with it doug!

cheers

they did the roady on my leggy in about 45 mins, as long as it looks the goods they really only check the major stuf from what i can tell, car is 14 years newer though so they may be a bit harsher on the older stuff, i can recomend a place that it will pass for sure but its a 4hr drive away

Yeah, but only if you get defected. There is no regular checks or anything like a RWC in SA at all.
