hey guys!

thanks for bringing up the post again, was in need of an update..but yes, just got back from overseas this week. Last couple of days been getting back into the car again to bring it up to scratch for a R.W.C - its just the small worn and torn things now

the car now has brand new pedders shocks all round, next is to sort out mounts for the cables for the magna rear brakes as their currently held on by cable ties. i'll update date as i settle back into it

cheers
_pete

cheers terrance

not going to put wheels on it doug, just keeping it original. as for polishing them up, i sort of half assed it but i'd rather pay someone to do it now lol - im still yet to source down a polisher but i couldn't imagine it being a costly excercise

minor update - booked in tomorrow for two new front tyres + wheel alignment = $305 for Nankangs, it's quite hard to find 205/60s in a tyre these days so these will have to do

Good catching up with you today Pete. Too bad about your Cordia. Damage doesn't look too bad and pretty sure you'll get on to it straight away. Stupid ute!
Your car is looking good BTW, always good to see a Cordia on the road.

cheers tim, always good to catch up with you mate! cheers for the crew member pass today too even though it was cancelled lol

and yeah terrance, was a bloody great weathered day to drive it all the way to calder without any hiccups! filling up at BP a bloody hilux ute with a canopy didn't see me as he was reversing to the behind pump.. end result was just a broken RHS parker lamp, dinted nosecone and the guard just got away with it. bloody spewing tried to beep him to stop but the horn only works within its sweet spot lol

next couple of days i'll end up prepping the whole front half and painting it again, wasnt happy with the end result of the bonnet last time and the guards need a lick of paint to blend in with the rest of the car anyway.. sort of works out well i guess

cheers

i was sort of devo then and there but got over it rather quickly as it wasn't a big deal.. the guy was a young bloke on red P's from NSW who was with his old man and younger brother, the whole ordeal sort of started and ended within 10 minutes lol

got his details, i'll end up just getting cash compo for it and just use it on the car somewhere i guess

**thought i'd add that i was over the moon and more happy he didn't fudge up my RACV badge baha
