The rims can't be the right offset...........standard is 43mm..........check the inside of the rim for identification.

They sound like RWD rims.

OK...........what size are the rims in width?..ie 6 inch............and what width tyres have you put on it?

It's unusual that proper offset allows the tyre to hit the shocker.........is it front or rear you have the problem with?

yep. My CORRECT OFFSET mags had 225s on em and they still scrubbed now and then. 235's will scrub 24/7. What offset exactly are yours? You may get away with smaller spacers than that. 11-12 mm is massive! Youll need longer studs and different nuts for sure. Ill let you know how i go tomorrow im fittin my 17x7's with 235's too. Just not enough traction in 225's for me.......

never had an adapter and have had them on a couple of cordias and my galant, would get a rub at the front on full lock and a funny angle like coming out of a driveway but thats it, how far have you gone on them? surely you havnt driven on em much/at all if they are rubbing, i'd be having words with the tyre place, trying to get them to change them for the cost of fitting or something

if you told em you want 215's and they put the bigger ones on they HAVE to change em imho, no cost to you, while it sounds like your getting better with more tyre for your money its acutually screwing you up, and not what you payed for
