Thanx!
I got some blue smoke, so I got to sort out the reason for that.. ..and since I live in Norway, where we use some billion liters of salt to keep the road clear of ice in the winter, there is some rust under the front bumper I must get rid of. But all in all it is in pretty good condition.
So plans, well.. I got to have a set of Rota rims!

if its smoke when you take off , its just the valve stem seals , but if its constant , it could be your piston rings

Looks like it`s whenever I put the pedal to the metal, so I`m a little worried about the piston rings my self.. But then again, the motor does not seem to have lost any power..

Nice car Elmer, do you have any photos of the engine and interior?? Also is that the 4wd version by any chance???
P.S. There was one of those spoilers on ebay last week, i was wondering what they'd look like on the car.

It's a fibreglass replica as the bolts for the rubber one eventually rust out............don't ask me where the mold is it's long gone.

No, I`am afraid it`s a 2wd. With the 4G32T 1597cm turbo motor. I belive thats the one with 84kw? Anyone?
One of very, very few Cordias originaly sold in Norway, and here even more rare with the turbo motor.
I`ll post more photos tomorrow...

Thanx!
It`s a good project to start with, for someone who has`nt own a Mitsubishi before. Usualy i spend my sparetime on old Chevys.. But it is in fairly good condition, there is som rust due to all the salt we use on the roads in Norway in the winter to keep them clear of ice. And a mechanical failure I got to sort out, causing heavy grey smoke.. maybe the turbo, maybe the piston rings, maybe the cylinder head gasket, I don`t know yet..
We originaly never got the 1,8 version of the turbo in Norway, because of the tax-rules we had in the `80s, that would have made them just as expensive as a Porsche..
